The El Dorado Springs Class of 1966 will have their 55th class reunion starting at 11 am. Saturday, July 24, at the home of Mark and Rhonda (Alexander) Boch. Spouses or guests are invited as well. We will serve a fried chicken dinner, dessert and drink (no alcohol) and are asking just for a donation.

Nature Made Gardens, 200 W Hwy. 54 #3 in El Dorado Springs, will be closed June 5 – July 11. The building will be in use by B&D Fireworks.   It will re-open on Monday, July 12. During that time owner Angela Kenney will harvest and prepare great products for her community.

The Welch-Gerster annual reunion will be held June 13, in the El Dorado Springs Civic Center. Bring a covered dish and plan to eat around 12:30. Hope to see you there.

It has come to the attention of the management team at Cedar County Memorial Hospital that some misinformation was recently circulated regarding a SCAM ALERT notification involving billing issues at the hospital and providing a 1-800-number to call. This information and the related 1-800-number are indeed legitimate as the hospital does utilize an extended off-site
