As we monitor the ongoing national response to the spread of COVID-19 and keep public health top of mind, we have decided to change the Sheep and Goat Workshop scheduled for April 9  in Stockton. to an online format. The workshop will still be held on April 9 from 6 p. m. to 9 p.

On Friday, El Dorado Springs R-II Superintendent Mark Koca sent the following email to the Sun office, “We will be announcing this afternoon that El Dorado Springs R-2 Schools will extend the closure for the COVID19 response through April 24.”

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) announces it will close its nature centers, visitor centers, and education centers around the state to visitors effective Thursday, March 19, to help protect the public amid ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns. The indoor facilities will be closed to the public through April 15 and MDC will reassess the situation
