90TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION – A 90th birthday celebration will be held for Wyona McPeak Nelsen from 2-4 p.m. Aug. 3, 2019, at Pape Christian Church, northwest of Tiffin. All family, friend and acquaintances are invited to attend. Wyona was born to Theodore and Golden McPeak on Aug. 29, 1929, in Cedar County.

Concord Missionary Baptist Church will hold annual Homecoming Services on Sunday, Aug. 11.  Sunday School at 10 a.m. followed by our pastor, Brother Bobby Budd, bringing the morning message. A basket dinner will be enjoyed at the noon hour. The afternoon service will begin with singing, then Brother Howard Hamilton will bring the afternoon message.

Fair Haven Park will host a breakfast smorgasbord from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July27. he EHS Class of 1964 will have its 55th reunion beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 20, in the El Dorado Springs Chamber of Commerce office in the north end of the former Wood’s Supermarket building at Hwy. 39 and Hwy. 54.

When: July 21. Where: Bruce and Penn’s garage corner of Ohio and Thompson St. Meat will be furnished. Please bring a side dish to share. We will eat around noon.
