Southwest Community Services, a Missouri Department of Mental Health agency, is currently recruiting for an Accounting Technician with working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Annual Salary:  $28,000.00 – $30,000.00 and includes a solid benefit package that includes medical insurance, optional dental and vision insurance, 3 weeks of paid vacation per year, 3 weeks of paid sick time per year, 12 paid holidays per year, deferred compensation plan, excellent retirement package and much more!

Job Duties:  Receive invoices, contracts and requisitions in office and verify information is correct and complete; match all records and process for payment, enter financial data; assist with the management of client funds which includes processing bills, depositing funds and processing withdrawals while ensuring proper documentation; assist with client budgets, benefits and billing.

Requirements: Two or more years of business or governmental accounting experience including the processing of financial data; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency. (Earned credit hours in Accounting may substitute for required experience.)
