60th Phillips reunion held

The 60th reunion of the descendants of Grover (Ned) and Myrtle Phillips family who lived in the Walker area met Sunday at the Marmaduke Park in Nevada for lunch.

Attending were Alayna and Paul Bracy and grandson, Aiden Moore, Charlotte, NC, Gary, Wendy, Courtney and Cassidy Fogler, Blue Springs, Tom and Jaque Flint of Greenword, Jerry, Rhonda and Ryan Bridges, Collinsville, OK, Bill and Dorothy Myer, and Richard and Sue Walter, Joplin, Bo and Caroline Phillips, Richards, Jamie and Elnora Dunn, Walker, Calvin and Wilma Beason, D. J. Beason, Heather, and Caliver, and Mert and Kay Fogler of El Dorado Springs, Carey and Meshele Crooks and Macie, Sonny and LaVerne Crooks, and Kathryn Phillips of Nevada.

The reunion was hosted by the Wayne Phillips family. Next year, the hosts will be the Frank Phillips family and held in El Dorado Springs the 2nd Sunday in August.
