A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER –  The Lighthouse Children’s Theatre and the Opera House Arts Council joined forces to produce “Dining with the Stars” dinner theatre on Saturday, Dec. 2, in the First Baptist Church Family Life Center.

Entertainment consisted of Lighthouse players and Nick, Reull and Abbey with an elegant meal mostly prepared by Lighthouse parents. Gavin McNeely sang “Don’t Rain on my Parade.”

Lighthouse Executive Director Jared Kouba said, “When we get the people of the community working together, wonderful things happen. Participants from three El Dorado Springs organizations helped make this a special evening – the Lighthouse, The Opera House Arts Council and Kim Cox from the ElDo Youth Center as our kitchen manager. I looked forward to the future and partnering with other organization to created something special.”

Bob Coleman, an original Lighthouse board member was recognized for his service to the organization. Former Executive Director Lynne Hedrick was also honored, but unable to attend the event.
