Bolivar OB/GYN announces its merger with Citizens Memorial Hospital effective Sept. 1. The clinic will combine with Butterfield Park Pediatrics and the two clinics will be renamed CMH OB/GYN and Pediatric Clinic. The clinic will remain at its current location, 1195 N. Butterfield Road, Bolivar.

In business for 13 years, Bolivar OB/GYN has provided a wide range of obstetrical and gynecological services. The clinic employs three physicians and one advanced practice provider including: D. Shelly Meents, M.D.; Sarah Kallberg, D.O.; Ashley Lane, D.O.; and Kelly Raney, RN, FNP. CMH will retain the medical staff and support staff of 14.

The clinic offers complete pregnancy care, 3D/4D ultrasounds, infertility testing and treatment, as well as laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation services. The physicians perform laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery, robotic-assisted surgery, and an in-office Her Option endometrial ablation procedure.

“We’ve had a close working relationship with Bolivar OB/GYN since they started in 2005,” says Donald J. Babb, chief executive officer/executive director of CMH. “We are excited to combine efforts and expand women’s services in our service area.”

CMH will begin billing services, transfer electronic medical records, and provide digital radiology and lab services by Sept. 1.
