Cedar County Back-To-School Fair held

Cedar County back-to-school fair was held Aug. 2 in the Family Life Center of the First Baptist church. 72 children picked up their backpacks filled with school supplies. Since that day we have given out 30 more. While there they had free vison screenings, saw Smokey the Bear and the dancing tooth ….. There were many resources given out as well as tooth brushes, toothpaste, notebooks and pencils to name a few. Appointments for free lead screening where available and as always, candy.

The back to school fair was a huge success. Thanks to the following vendors/contributors (and many more) in money, time or resources.
