CMH long-term care facilities recognized for outstanding customer satisfaction

Five Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation (CMH) long-term care facilities and two CMH assisted living/residential care centers received the 2017 Excellence in Action award from National Research Corporation (NRC) Health.

The Excellence in Action award recognizes long-term care and senior living organizations that achieve the highest level of excellence. This is demonstrated by overall resident or employee satisfaction scores that rank within the top 10 percent of the NRC Health product database, the largest proprietary satisfaction database for senior care in the U.S. CMH was among 29 facilities recognized in Missouri, and 809 across the U.S.

The CMH recipients for the customer satisfaction award include: Ash Grove Healthcare Facility, Ash Grove; Butterfield Residential Care Center, Bolivar; Colonial Springs Healthcare Center, Buffalo; Community Springs Healthcare Facility, El Dorado Springs; Lake Stockton Healthcare and Assisted Living Facility, Stockton; and Parkview Health Care Facility, Bolivar.

To qualify for the award, long-term care facilities and assisted living or independent living communities needed to complete a customer service or workforce satisfaction survey in 2016. Recipients must also receive a minimum of 10 responses, with a minimum 30 percent response rate. Facilities had to score in the top 10 percent of qualifying assisted living and independent living facilities and the top 20 percent of qualifying skilled nursing facilities on the question, “What is your recommendation of this facility to others?” in terms of percentage of respondents who rated the facility as “excellent” or “What is your recommendation of this facility as a place to work?” in terms of the percentage of employee respondents rating the facility as “excellent.”
