CROSS NEW AT CCMH – Cedar County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) welcomes Hollee Cross, RN, BSN, as the new Program Director for Senior Life Solutions (SLS). Cross was born and raised in El Dorado Springs and she currently resides in the rural El Dorado Spring area with her husband and two children. Cross graduated from St. John’s school of nursing and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Southwest Baptist University. She has 30 years of experience as a registered nurse and has worked with patients in hospital, geriatric and psychiatric settings. Her most recent position was with the Department of Health and Senior services where she traveled throughout the state of Missouri ensuring hospitals were meeting state and federal regulations.

Cross said, “I am excited to step into a successful and much needed program in our community and look forward to serving our older adult population. Please call me if you know someone struggling with the challenges of aging.”

Cross’s first day at CCMH was Aug. 14, 2017, where she received training with Faith Trussell, RN, BSN. Trussell worked as the Program Director for just over four years and has recently been promoted within Psychiatric Medical Care, who manages the Senior Life Solutions program nationally.

Senior Life Solutions program, an intensive outpatient group therapy program, is designed to meet the unique needs of older adults over the age of 65 struggling with depression and anxiety often related to aging.
