DOBBS BAGS FIRST WIN OF SEASON

DOBBS BAGS FIRST WIN OF SEASON – Collecting his first win of the season and putting weekly competitor Rusty Skaggs to a halt on his hot streak, was Lucas Dobbs who bagged his first win of the season after competing with Joplin’s Kyle Thompson side-by-side for many laps. Thompson finished in the runner up spot, as John Romesburg of Seneca moved up to third. Rusty Skaggs, who had won two races this season, finished fourth. Fifth place went to Chase Jones of El Dorado Springs.

Other winners Saturday, June 2, were  Foxie Sumner in the Mini Stocks, Matt Rose in the B-Mods, Tyrel Jones in the Pure Stocks, John Coats in the Street Stocks and Jerad McIntire in the Midwest Mod division. The next race was Saturday, June 9, for the Bushwhacker Day’s Special.
