FFA INSTALLS LIGHTS IN PARK – The El Dorado Springs Chamber of Commerce commissioned more holiday signage this year in an effort to expand Christmas decorations in the Park. The Chamber of Commerce “North Pole” signs join the lighted “Christmas in the Park” center entrance sign. The two new holiday signs are located at the intersection of Main and Gay Streets and at Main and Spring Street. Toshua McCormick, Jami Carpenter-McCullick and Janna Dody were the committee of three that spearheaded the project. They asked El Dorado Springs FFA instructor Jay Martin and his students to design and build the decorations. Chamber President Toshua McCormick said, “These projects add to the holiday atmosphere for residents and visitors. Project sponsors include El Dorado Mexican Restaurant and Cantina, Sac Osage Electric Cooperative, Fugate Motors, Shelter Insurance, Mid Missouri Bank, Evans Drugs, State Farm, Night and Day Renovations, Santa Paula Awning, El Dorado Springs Family Chiropractic, Cedar County Abstract and Title and Allison’s Quick Lube.
