El Dorado Springs native, Kamber Cain, recently took top honors of receiving the Independent Artist award for Country Artist Of The Year at the Indie Ville TV awards held on May 6 at Rocketown in Nashville, TN.

Indie Rock, Country, Reggae, R&B, Alternative bands, Models, Films, Directors, etc… are nominated by the community and awarded in 24 categories.

Kamber has two music videos out to her original songs called “Ain’t Nothin Like A Night Like This”, which was filmed in the El Dorado Springs and Stockton Lake areas, and “Maybe I Just Might”, which was filmed in Nashville and surrounding areas. A film crew out of Nashville, consisting of Mark Alan Peters, Mike Stryker and Darren Williams , filmed, directed and produced the videos. Cain co-wrote both songs, along with “I Think I’m Into You” and “It’s Time To Get Tough,” with Brian Maher and Rich McCready. She also has a lyric video out to her latest original song, “I Don’t Think Of You,” co-written with Mark Alan Peters. You can check these out under her name on YouTube. Kamber has been an extra on the show “Nashville” several times and on a new show called “Still The King” starring Billy Ray Cyrus that will premiere on CMT on June 12. She is excited to announce an upcoming performance during CMA Fest in Nashville at The Tin Roof on Demonbreun Street at 8 p.m. on June 9 right after the Chase Rice Concert. She will perform back here in Missouri at the Higginsville Annual 4th of July Family Fun Festival at 6 p.m. opening up for State Line Drive.
