PAPE CELEBRATES FATHER’S DAY: Sunday was a beautiful day to honor our Heavenly Father and to also show our appreciation to all of the men who share our lives and bring us joy. Our Sunday School hour opened with the hymn, “Because He Lives,” and then Carl led in a responsive reading of John chapter 17, before sending us to our classes. Following Sunday School, we sang for Lisa Leonard and Don Evans who had both celebrated their birthdays this week.
Those mentioned for special prayer were Mary Margret Keith, Ray Bozarth and Larry Bray and family because of the passing of his father, and prayers for the family of Teressa King. Our Call to Worship was Proverbs 1:8. Brother Dennis titled his message, “A Father’s Love.”
