TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in the United Methodist Church, 201 E Broadway on Thursday, Feb. 21, for their weekly weigh-in and meeting.

Leader Sheryl Ann called our meeting to order and Kay led us in singing “It’s In Our Hands”.  We said our TOPS & KOPS pledges.

Marilyn led us in some stretching exercises.

Sheryl led us in roll call and walking report.

Twenty-seven weighed in today and the chapter had a net gain of 15.2 lbs.

Week’s best loser was Terriesha with a loss of 2.8 lbs. Congratulations Terriesha.

We sang happy birthday to Marie who is celebrating her birthday today, we sang happy birthday to Juanita as she will celebrate her birthday on Feb. 26.

Jean will celebrate her 14-year KOPS anniversary on Feb. 24, and we sang Happy Anniversary to her.

Mary reported on the contest: Carol’s team is in 1st place, Linda H’s team in 2nd, Marilyn’s in 3rd, Juanita’s in 4th and Jean’s in 5th place.

Sue C won the right to draw for the marble but did not get the winning one. The pot is at $47.

Sheryl reminded us Claudia will be here next week for her Area Captain visit.

Linda Hall reported on the potato bake plans. There will be a conflict on March 14, as this is the same day as the Chamber of Commerce meeting and luncheon. She suggested we move it to March 21. Carol made motion we do this and Jan 2nd, motion carried.

We will hold our Baked Potato Luncheon on Thursday, March 21, in the Community Center Banquet room.  Please watch the paper for more information.

The floor was then turned over to Will from Evans Drug. He presented an interesting program on the Keto Diet. There are pros and cons on this diet and he gave us a lot of helpful information on this. Thank you to Will and to Evans Drug for their programs they bring to us.

With no other business meeting was adjourned with our motto “IF IT IS TO BE IT IS UP TO ME.”
