The floor was turned over to Juda who had the program today. She took her program from Real Life, Real People. She talked about making the change in your lifestyle to be healthier and lose weight.

To have lasting change you must follow these steps.

Know there is a problem

Be concerned about the problem

Prepare to make a change

Take action, make a plan. For instance, join a weight loss group such as TOPS.

Note your progress and reward yourself

Learn from your mistakes

Avoid temptation

Manage your environment

Limit your time with negative people

Shift your focus to being healthy, and not on only losing the pounds.

Benefits of a lifestyle change:

Feeling better

Clothes fitting better

Healthier (blood pressure down, blood sugar stable)

Juda said our chapter makes it fun and motivating.

She reminded us “You have not failed till you quit trying.”

Thank you, Juda, for a wonderful program
