Sheryl Ann led us in roll call and walking report. Twenty-five weighed in today and we had a 12 lb. net loss.

Judy B was the weeks best loser with a loss of 5.8 lbs.  Congratulations Judy B.

LJ reported she has 2,000 best choice labels to send in.

Marble game:  LJ won the right to draw but did not get the winning one.

Contest report:  A new contest is starting.  You can sign up this week or next. You will need $2 worth of quarters to start.

Linda H has made us a new member list. Please note Sandi’s house number is 1601 nothing else has changed.

A card was passed around for everyone to sign for Sylvia. Her brother in law passed away.

Warren had the program today. He took it from the TOPS web site and it was about journaling. He asked how do you evaluate how well you are doing in your weight loss journey? Of course, we all weigh-in each week so we can see how we have done that week. What else can we do?

Journaling is writing down what we ate. We do that when we keep a food chart. How many of us take it a step further and write down why did we eat what we ate? What was our emotions when you ate and when you chose what you ate? Why do we sometimes want to eat everything in sight?

Do we worry about what we will eat for the next meal?

Write down positive thoughts. Things you are grateful for.

What is your real vision on your weight loss journey? What do you want to get out of your weight loss journey?  Form a plan and work towards that plan.

If I am an emotional eater why do I want what I want? At the end of day look at your journal and see how you felt about that day. What can you do to change?

Thank you, Warren, for a great thought provoking program.

With no other business meeting was adjourned with our song and motto. If It Is To Be IT IS UP TO Me.
