TOPS Chapter 9319 morning meeting

TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in the Church of Christ meeting room Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017.

Leader Sheryl Walker opened the meeting and Kay S. led us in singing “Rockin Around The Salad Bar Line.”

We said our pledges and Sheryl led us in roll call. We welcomed two visitors. Twenty-Five members weighed in today, the chapter had a 9.6 net loss.

Sandi B was the week’s best loser with a loss of 5.8 lbs. Way to go Sandi.

Sheryl has covers for the “Bank Books” is anyone wants one the cost is $5.

We sang Happy Birthday to Kathy G and to Chris W.

We sang Happy Anniversary to Marilyn who is celebrating her 56-wedding anniversary.

Jean won the right to draw for a marble but did not get a winning one.

Sheryl asked for discussion on donating money to The Food Pantry and to the Senior Center. In the past we have donated $1 per pound lost during the year to these organizations. The donated money comes from our proceeds from the Baked Potato Luncheon held each March and September. Susan Sandel made motion we do this again this year and Marie seconded. Motion carried.

Warren will have a new contest for us after the 1st of the year.

With no other business we adjourned for our Annual Christmas Gift Exchange.
