TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in the Church of Christ Meeting room on Thursday, Dec. 7.

Leader Sheryl Walker opened the meeting and Kay S. led us in singing “TOPS IS GREAT”.

We said our pledges and Sheryl led us in roll call. Twenty-Three weighed in today.

Linda W. was the week’s best loser with a loss of 1.4 lbs. Marilyn led us in some exercises by leading dancing to music.

Marilyn presented awards today for the month of November.

We had a net loss of 10.8 lbs. for the month of November.

Those with perfect attendance were Sandi, Robbie, Linda H., Warren, Carolyn, Kay, Pat, Jan, Sheryl, Marilyn and Juanita. Sheryl won the drawing for free dues.

Sheryl was the month’s best loser with a loss of 9.6 lbs. She won $4.50. Congratulations Sheryl.

Kadeana Manes received a certificate and charm for her 10 lbs. loss.

Melissa Sandel received a certificate for her 35 lbs. loss.

Pat Summers received her certificate and charm for her 10 lbs. loss with perfect attendance.

Steve Scoville received a certificate for his 55 lbs. loss.

Sheryl Walker certificate for a 5 lbs. loss and for a 10 lbs. loss.

Susan Sandel received the “clothespin” to put on the “Stick”. She is within 20 lbs. to goal. Congratulations Susan.

Carol went over the Million-pound challenge board. Those in our chapter who have made the “lose 10 lbs. in 2017 challenge” are: Steve, Juanita, Pat, Angie, Lynda, Warren, Kadeana, Susan, Juda and Melissa. Remember you still have till Dec. 31 to do this. Also, if you gain you may not have time to lose back before Dec. 31.

Kay thanked our weight recorders, Marilyn and Carol for all the hard work they do.  They make a great team.

Again, reminder of the Christmas party next week. Marie will read a story as we pass the gifts around the circle. This will be followed by healthy and low-calorie snacks.

Sheryl read a newsletter from Claudia Gaylord our area captain.

She said there will be a resume workshop on Dec. 30, at her home 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. we are to RSVP if anyone from our chapter plans to attend.

She recognized our KOPS December Anniversaries: Dorothy, Marie and Marilyn.

She said to remember the KOPS Society meeting will be March 4 in Springfield.

Claudia wished us all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
