Thursday, April 25 Sheryl called our meeting to order and ask for a song. Kay led us in Bring Back My Slim Body to Me. We had our TOPS’ Pledge followed by our KOPS’ Pledge.

We had a new member join today. Cheryl M. is now a part of our TOPS family. Welcome, Cheryl.

Roll was taken. We had 28 weigh in today with a net loss of 14.2 lbs. Our best loser was Angie who lost 5.4 lbs.! She received the best loser award and we sang our TOPS Pal song to her. Our total miles walked for this week was 387. We had good week.

Juanita won the draw for our Marble Game. She didn’t draw the white marble though, and didn’t win the pot.

We didn’t have any birthdays or anniversaries this week BUT Friday is Wyatt’s birthday so we sang to him.

The Stockton TOPS Club invited us to their Open House on May 7th at 6:15 p.m. They will be celebrating their 30th year anniversary! We are asked to RSVP at 417/955-0689.

We have a tie in our new contest. Carol and Juanita each have three letters. Only one more to go and you get to choose your prize.

T-Shirts are still being discussed and ideas being taken. If you have any designs bring them in to Sheryl. She has a board to display all them on. So be sure to take a look.

Evans Drug had our program today. They told us about the Medicines on Time (MOT) program that they offer. We all know how important it is to take our meds in a timely manner BUT we do forget. They can package medications for you for a month at a time – free. They coordinate all the medicines with your doctor’s prescriptions. The packs are color coded for medications taken at different times of the day. If you need a day’s worth, just tear off that day from the pack and take it with you. They are thinking green too. The holders of the pack are recyclable.

Several of us were quite interested in this program and plan to check it out. Thank you, Evan’s Drug, for your help in our community.

We dismissed with our motto, If it is to be it is up to me.
