TOPS Chapter 319 El Dorado Springs (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) met in the Church of Christ Meeting Room on Thursday, May 11.

Robbie opened the meeting and Kay led us in singing “Hand In Hand”.

We said our TOPS & KOPS pledges.

Marilyn led us in a series of exercises.

Robbie led us in Roll Call. Twenty-eight weighed in today. The chapter had a net loss of 34.8 lbs. Warren was the best loser for the week with a loss of 6 lbs.

We welcomed new member, Melissa S, to our chapter. She brought baby, Wyatt, with her.

Carol has the Cut & Burn Chart completed and displayed. If you want to keep track of your own progress using the chart in the TOPS Magazine Carol has lots of stickers for you to use.

It is almost time to go over bylaws. Please get yours out and look them over and if you have anything you want to change, please bring it up at the next meeting.

Marguerite got her 15-year KOPS Pin today.

Robbie read a letter from Sylvia. She sent the gold star chapter requirements. One of them is to take a photo of TOPS members wearing TOPS logo merchandise out and about in the community.

She explained how a KOPS qualifies for a “Black K” this is an award given by the coordinator. To receive this award a KOPS must have been with in leeway all year and had at least 28 weigh-ins. (Not the 15 required to maintain KOPS status).

New officer elections will be the second week in July.

Fall Rally will be at Rich Hill on Oct. 7.

Margie won the right to draw for a marble. She got a green one so the pot continues to grow.

Warren presented the prizes for the current contest. Juanita won first place and received $10 and Carol won second place and received $5.

He will have a new contest to present to us next week.

Sheryl had the program today and presented everyone with a lovely flower for Mother’s day. She cut her program short so we could adjourn for Melissa’s baby shower.

With no other business we closed with our motto “If It Is To Be IT IS Up To Me.”
