TOPS Chapter 319 El Dorado Springs (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) met in the Church of Christ Meeting room on Thursday, July 27.

Robbie read the following little story.

Old age is golden, or so I’ve heard it said, but sometimes I wonder, as I crawl into bed.

With my ears in a drawer, my teeth in a cup

My glasses on the table until I get up.

As sleep dims my vision, I say to myself:

Is there anything else I should lay on the shelf?

The reason I know my youth is all spent, my get-up-and-go has got up and went

But in spite of it all, I’m able to grin and think of the places my get up has been.”

Leader, Robbie Chase opened the meeting and Kay S. led us in singing “You Are My Song.”

Sandi was the week’s best loser with a loss of 8.8 lbs.  Congratulations Sandi.

Twenty-Two weighed in and the chapter had a net loss of 7.8 lbs.

Measurements were taken today; if you did not get measured please see Kay.

We sang Happy Birthday to Marilyn. It was noted Emily S and Tammy R are celebrating anniversaries this week.

Marilyn presented Kay with her back in black and perfect attendance for the month of June.
