Union Hall 4-H report

A Thanksgiving feast was shared by the Union Hall 4-H Club when they gathered Nov. 8, at the Land-O-Lakes Fairgrounds for their regular meeting.

There was a reminder for everyone to do their enrollment online. We voted to Christmas Carol at the nursing home before our December meeting. We voted instead of a gift exchange to bring a toy and canned goods donations for our next meeting. These will be given to Toys for Tots and the Christmas Basket Drive.

There was an announcement on Salvation Army Bell Ringing. An email will be sent out to let everyone know the sign up dates. We will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Schiereck residence to put the Christmas Float together. Please let Macy or Reece know if you plan to ride on the float.

Our evening speakers joining us for dinner and our meeting were Velynda Cameron from the Polk Co. Extension Office, Linda Heryford from the Cedar Co. Extension Office and Terry Costello with Cedar Co Shooting Sports.

Our next meeting will be Wednesday, Dec. 13. We will meet at the Nursing Home to carol before our meeting at Land-O-Lakes Fairgrounds.
