VIRGIL CEMETERY MEMORIAL SERVICE

VIRGIL CEMETERY MEMORIAL SERVICE – Right on schedule as they have for years, members of Stockton VFW Post 5525 led by Commander Leonard Hopkins, rolled up to the Virgil City Cemetery just before 10 a.m. and conducted a Memorial Day service. The usual crowd gathered for the event. The VFW Post also conducts services yearly at Cedar Gap – 7 a.m., Lindley Prairie – 7:30 a.m., Hartley – 8 a.m., Alder – 8:30 a.m., Pankey – 9 a.m., Hamby 9:30 a.m., Virgil City – 10 a.m., Anna Edna – 10:45 a.m. and Gum Springs – 11:15 a.m.
