Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church was by Pastor Nick Van Dam was titled “What does Faith look like” taken from John 10:1-10.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study held Tuesday 7 p.m. in Tom and Beverly Pelkey home had eight in attendance.

Mt. Zion Club will be May 17 in the Marge Zink home at 1 p.m., plant exchange planed.

The Mt. Zion area is thankful for the beautiful weekend, there was a lot of rain, water everywhere.

Tri-County Quilt Club was canceled due to the high water causing roads to close, meeting was held the following Monday.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey kept doctor appointments last week.

Visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home were Marge Zink, Beverly Pelkey, Mike and Stacy Pelkey.

Several in the area attended the VFW Post #11242 and Auxiliary meeting Thursday night, plans were made to observe Memorial Day honors at the park and cemetery.

Cemetery Boards will meet at Kidd’s Chapel May 28, at 10 a.m. at the Kidd’s Chapel Church; Mt. Zion Cemetery meeting in June.

Sheri Suster and Marge Zink worked on Valor quilt last week.

John and Julia Snethen attended the Appleton City Graduation Ceremony; we had two from the area graduating, Coleton Smith and Sheila Jones. We wish them good luck in their chosen fields.
