Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church was by Pastor Nick Van Dam titled “Quality Time” from John 15: 1-9.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home each Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. to study the Bible with eight in attendance.

Mt. Zion Club will meet March 21, in the home of Beverly Pelkey home instead of Marge Zink home afternoon meeting at 1 p.m.

Mt. Zion Weather was mostly nice this past week, more gardens were planted. The Jonquils and Crocus are in full bloom.

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm, Belle got all excited when she heard the two babies billy goat crying when they got their horns caught in the fence panel. Robin rescued them and reminded them grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Belle told them, “how could you get such little horns caught?” besides you are kids interrupting my play time.

Dixie Peterson keep her doctor appointment in Clinton, getting a good report to keep up the therapy she doing at home.

The kittens that Beverly and Tom Pelkey adopted last summer like to sit in the window box by the kitchen window and watch Beverly work. We neighbors said she was growing cattails; we neighbors are now eating our words for there are four cats at the window bow now. Tom and Beverly attended the Soup and Chili Fund raiser for the Lowry City Christian School Friday evening, Charles Wilson and Coralee Miller were among neighbors, so were James and Karen Rosbrugh.

The Rockville Hand Quilters were happy to have the entire group back Sunshine and warm weather makes everyone felt better.

Julia Snethen has been down all week with the flu bug and trying to keep it away from John.
