Looks and feels a lot like Christmas, decorations are going up in the Mt. Zion area homes and driveways. Santa Claus was in Rockville Saturday taking pictures with the children at the Methodist Church.

Recent visitors in the Howard and Dixie were Charlene and Donnie Crayton.

Several from the area attended the VFW Post 11242 and Auxiliary meeting and Christmas party. Post and Auxiliary are looking for new members.

Visitors in the Tom and Beverly home have been James and Karen Rosbrugh. Tom has been busy keeping ahead of the wood fairies. The kittens are still setting in the flower box watching Beverly work. Is she growing cat tails in the flower box?

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm when Mabel is away, her dog, Specks, goes visiting; Belle and Specks enjoyed their time together greeting the mail lady, tag and watching the goats.

Julia Snethen visited the emergency room again and got a lot more medicine but she thinks she is finally getting ahead of the stuff she has.

John and Julia went to Clinton on Friday evening to help set up for Clinton Chapter #73 installations which was held on Saturday afternoon. When they returned home they thought the hose was on fire but it was their son, Ron Thompson, having a wiener roast and testing Julia’s fire pit that he has not finished yet.

Shella Akers and David Vandivier visited on Sunday bringing with them a new dog named Roxy, and she seems to fit right in.
