Growing older should take longer

Marilyn Entrikin said they had a good crowd for the carry-in dinner at the Senior Center on Thursday. So much good food. Later, they played bingo. She didn’t win but had fun anyway. She said she has been enjoying the warm days, now ready for some cold days.

Marilyn’s thought for today, she thought growing older would take longer.

Tex McKinley had Mike Jones and his son visit him again this week. Mike has a way of brightening a person’s day. Glenda and Connie Leer stopped by this week to visit Tex and Dora Jean McKinley. They stayed a while so we could talk. Angel, our cat, hid around the corner and was watching them. She loves people.

With better days this week, I have got to get out more. I listened to a lot of television while I cleaned the house.

I talked to Lisa Sumner this week. She is such a busy woman.
