Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church was by the youth group with Paige Martin, the Youth Pastor leader.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the home of Tom and Beverly Pelkey each Tuesday at 7 p.m. to study the Bible with nine in attendance; you are welcome to join us for Bible study.

Mt. Zion Club met Feb. 15, in the Marge Zink home, 11 ladies enjoyed a taco lunch at noon. Binding a quilt was favorite was done for the hostess; we played a game that Mt. Zion ladies played years ago. I would like to give you one question with all answer are towns within a 50 mile radius of Mt. Zion area. “A dangerous place for children to play?” The Mt. Zion ladies years ago made up their own games, plays, etc. We today I’m sure would be considered lazy, and we are.

Can you believe the wonderful weather we are enjoying? Keep wondering when winter will return, some daffodils are ready to bloom, planted lettuce on Valentine’s Day. We do need rain or snow.

Bob and Sheri Suster celebrated their anniversary Feb.17, and Sheri’s birthday on the 19th.

Family and friends helped Marge Zink celebrate her birthday Sunday, they were Howard and Dixie Peterson Tom and Beverly Pelkey, Betty Teal, Charles Wilson, Coralee Miller, Brenda Peterson, Mike and Stacy Griffith. Marge celebrated but didn’t get any older.

Recent visitor in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home was Mitchell Crawford. Dixie enjoyed her new walk-in shower wondering why they waited so long.

John Snethen met David Vandivier in Clinton with Taylor and Rex on Saturday morning then John and Julia met Shella Akers and David at the state park in Knob Noster for pictures then on to David’s house for a late lunch before returning home.
