Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church was by Pastor Nick Van Dam entitled “Joyful Living.” We invite you to join us on Dec. 24, at 9 a.m. for Sunday morning worship and at 6 p.m. for worship.
Mt. Zion Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home each Tuesday at 7 p.m. with 10 in attendance.
Mt. Zion area was grateful for the1/4 inch of rain Sunday morning.
Visitor in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home was Kent Crawford, their new dog is settling in good.
Tom and Beverly Pelkey kept Tom’s doctor’s appointment in Warrensburg Monday, getting a good report; nice weather for outing in December. Shella Akers and David Vandivier were recent visitors in the Tom and Beverly home. Shella and David also visited with Marge Zink.
Those from the Mt. Zion area enjoying the Christmas party in the home of Pastor Nick and Megan Van Dam were Tom and Beverly Pelkey, Charles Wilson and Coralee Miller.
Margie Siegismund and family celebrated Christmas Dec. 17, enjoying dinner, visiting and presents.
Mabel Siegismund enjoyed visiting with cousins from Nebraska. She is still picking pecans, Speck is not much help, she would rather visit Belle.
Julia Snethen is still battling the flu shot but has started getting out, she went to Clinton on Saturday to meet granddaughter, Shella, to get her wedding dress altered. Julia and Shella met with Maureen Wallace to start the process. Ron Thompson visited his mother. Julia. Saturday evening to put up some Christmas decorations. John Snethen ran his OATS bus route.
