Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23. She will be open Friday, Nov. 24, and then closed on Saturday, Nov. 25, and Sunday, Nov. 26. She will reopen at her regular time Monday, Nov. 27. Then on Friday, Dec. 1, she will close after breakfast is served and reopen Saturday and again on Friday, Dec. 8. She will close after serving breakfast and reopen on Saturday. Madalyn says she had a large crowd for her Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 16.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended the birthday dinner at the El Dorado Springs Senior Center for the November birthday Bash Thursday, Nov. 16.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Nov. 19. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon “Positive Attitude.”

Connie Locke of Nevada took Ruth Ijams of Schell City to see her doctor at Kansas City on Friday, Nov. 10

Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended the Thanksgiving service at the Grace United Methodist Church at El Dorado Springs Sunday evening, Nov. 19.
