News from Harwood and area

Madalyn’s Kitchen wanted me to put in my news that she will not have a steak dinner until Valentines Day, Feb. 14. She will only have Prime Rib.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edwards, spent Saturday night, Jan. 21, and Sunday, Jan. 22, in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman. They all attended church together and then had dinner at the Cedar House Grill in El Dorado Springs. Friend, Rosie Taylor ate with them.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Jan. 22. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon, “Being Faithful to Jesus in a Changing Society” taken from John 14:6.

The Harwood and Schell City areas got a much needed rain Saturday and Sunday.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and Rosie Taylor attended the Community dinner at the First Baptist Church at El Dorado Springs Sunday evening, Jan. 22.
