Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edwards, spent Thursday, May 25, in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman. They decorated the graves of loved ones. They went to the cemeteries at Brush Creek near Billings, El Dorado Springs Cemetery and Mount Vernon Cemetery near Walker. They all had dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City. A neighbor, Rose Taylor, went with them.

Joey, Amie and Hunter Coy, of Calhoun, spent from Wednesday evening, May 24, through Sunday, May 28, in the home of Joey’s parents, Jerry and Karen Coy.

Rosie Taylor, a friend of Jewell and Helen Ellerman, took them to Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home at El Dorado Springs for family visitation for the family of Margaret Berning. Margaret lived in the Harwood area for several years. Her late husband delivered the Kansas City Star in the Harwood and Schell City areas for several years. Margaret worked at the Community Springs Care Center for several years at El Dorado Springs.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, May 28. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon, “The Lord is God” was taken from I Kings 18:36-39.
