Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will hold a Fourth of July celebration at the Schell City Park on the Forth of July. It will start at 5 p.m. hamburgers and hot gods will be furnished. Everyone attending is to bring a side dish and their lawn chairs. There will be fireworks at dark. Everyone in the area is invited to attend.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and a friend, Rosie Taylor, ate at the Cedar House Grill at El Dorado Springs Wednesday, June 14.

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 for the Forth of July celebration.

The Harwood and Schell City area had some bad storms late Thursday night and late Friday night this past week. They had wind, rain and some hail.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, June 18. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon was taken from Matthew 21:6-32. On Sunday, June 25, the church will be giving soccer balls to the children and youth. Mike Morris from the Calvary Baptist Church at Nevada will be at the Harwood Baptist to tell about the soccer balls.
