Jewel and Helen Ellerman attended the El Dorado Springs Senior Center fundraiser Sunday, July 9. They have it once a month to help with the meal on wheels.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday July 9. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon was taken from I Timothy 1:12-19. Brother Caudle says he was doing better. He was unable to do the service last Sunday, July 2.

The Harwood area had a pretty good rain on Monday and Tuesday this past week.

I talked to Connie Locke Sunday, July 9. She said she is happy to be back to Nevada after retiring from preaching. She was pastor at the Harwood United Methodist Church when they closed in December 2007, and she was the pastor at the Schell City Church when Harwood closed until Schell City Church closed in June 2016. She was pastor at the Marionville Methodist Church for a year and then she retired from preaching. Before she came to Harwood and Schell she was pastor at Horton and Metz.
