Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will not have a steak dinner in August because everyone is getting ready for school to start and getting ready for the Schell City Fall festival. In September, if she decides to have something in August she will put it in my news.

Helen Ellerman attended her 50th year class reunion. She graduated from Walker High School with the Class of 1967. They held it at Buzz’s Restaurant at Nevada on Saturday evening, Aug. 12. There were 13 present from the Class of 1967. There was 17 in the class. One was unable to attend and three had passed away. Lousie Lasley took Helen to her reunion.

The Harwood and Schell City area received another much needed rain Friday morning, Aug. 11.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Aug. 13. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon “Be Victorious” was taken from Luke 6:46-49 and James 12:2-4.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended the dinner and games and had a lot of fun Sunday evening, Aug. 13, at the Grace United Methodist Church at El Dorado Springs.
