Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will hold her steak, chicken and shrimp dinner Sunday, Oct. 8. She will not have her regular Sunday buffet.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and a friend, Rosie Taylor, attended the community dinner at the First Baptist Church at El Dorado Springs Sunday evening, Sept. 24.

Pastor Jon Caudle, at the Harwood Baptist Church, was ill Sunday, Sept. 24, so his wife, Judith, said they just had Sunday School and a song service for the worship service.

The area needs rain bad again. Everything in the area is getting dry again and it is dangerous for fire year.

The Harwood Post Office is still open from 1:15-3:15 p.m. The clerk from Schell City Post Office which is open from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, is the clerk for the Harwood Post Office in the afternoon.
