Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will have her steak, chicken and shrimp dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8. The price will depend on what you get. She will not have her regular buffet dinner on that day. Madalyn will not be open on Saturday Oct. 14 and Sunday, Oct. 15, and will reopen at ther regular time on Monday, Oct. 16.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edward, spent Sunday, Oct. 1, and Monday, Oct. 2, in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman. They all attended church at the Grace United Methodist Church at El Dorado Springs and they had dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen at Schell City. They met Rosie Taylor of El Dorado Springs and Ruth Ijams, Jeanie O’Brien and Peggy O’Brien, of Schell City, at Madalyn’s Kitchen to celebrate the 91st birthday of Jewel Ellerman, which was Oct. 2.

Church service was held at The Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Oct. 1. Brother Jon Caudle Sr. was still unable to preach so Brother Bill Clevenger was the guest preacher. He took his sermon from several different books of the Bible. Sunday School was held before church.
