Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, says that as far as she knows she will not be closed any more in October. She said that she will be open on Halloween Day, Oct. 31.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Oct. 15. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon “God Had a Plan For Your Life” was taken from Exodus 3.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and a friend, Rosie Taylor, had dinner at a restaurant in El Dorado Springs Sunday, Oct. 15, after church.

The Harwood Post Office is still open for business. It is open from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. The clerk is Chris. He is the clerk from the Schell City Post Office. He is there in the morning from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.

The Schell City and Harwood areas received around 2 1⁄2 to 3 inches of rain Saturday night and early Sunday morning. It was much needed for the farmers.
