News from Harwood and Schell City

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edwards, visited Jewell Ellerman at the Cedar Memorial Hospital at El Dorado Springs Sunday, July 29. Helen Ellerman and a friend, Rosie Taylor, were there. Jewell had hip surgery Monday, July 16, at Freeman West at Joplin. She is in the Swing Bed program at the El Dorado Springs Hospital for Therapy. She is doing really well.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, July 29. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon was taken from Romans 8:28-31.

Hunter Coy, of Calhoun, is spending a week with his grandparents, Jerry and Karen Coy, while his parent, Joey and Amiee Coy, are on vacation.

The area had a little bit of rain now and then this past week but the farmers still need rain. It is still a pretty day.
