News from Harwood and Schell City

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, says that as far as she knows she will be open every day except for Wednesdays when she is closed every Wednesday anyway. She says that she will have me put it in my news if something changes.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Sept. 16. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon was taken from Jude 1:22-23. The Baptist Association held a 50th year celebration celebrating the kids camp. It was held at Amsterdam. Some form the Harwood Baptist Church attended.

Several from the area attended the Walker Fun Days Saturday, Sept. 15.

Joey, Aimee and Hunter Coy of Calhoun spent the weekend in the home of Jerry and Karen Coy. Joey was helping combine corn.

The are got some much needed rain this past week. The farmers really needed the rain.
