Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, held a fundraiser breakfast for the family of Grant Davis on Saturday, Nov. 3. Grant had stage 4 lunch cancer. They raised $3,385 at the breakfast and donated it.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Nov. 11, with Brother Mike Dunivan. His sermon was “Love Your Enemy.”

The area received a pretty good snow late Sunday evening, Nov. 11, and Monday, Nov. 12. It will be good for the farmers that had wheat planted.

Kaylia Alexander celebrated her 16th birthday on Nov. 11. Her grandparents, Jerry and Karen Coy and her parents, Bill and Allison Alexander, all of Harwood, went to the BBQ place at Osceola on Saturday, Nov. 10 to celebrate her birthday.

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22. She will then be open on Friday, Nov. 23, and Saturday, Nov. 24, she will be open for breakfast only. She will be closed on Sunday, Nov. 25 and reopen at her regular time on Monday, Nov. 26.

Jewel and Helen Ellerman and a Friend, Rosie Taylor, went to Madalyn’s Kitchen at Schell City Thursday, Nov. 15, for her Thanksgiving dinner. She had her buffet like she has on Sundays.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended the Thanksgiving dinner at the Grace United Methodist Church Sunday evening, Nov. 18, in El Dorado Springs.

Allison Alexander had a surprise birthday party for her daughter’s 16th birthday on Sunday, Nov. 11. She had four of Kaylia’s friend there for the party.
