Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, held her Valentine’s Dinner on Thursday, Feb. 14. She said she really had a big crowd. She said it would be filled up and then people that were waiting out doors would come. She says she would like to thank everyone that supported her. She served really good food.

Madalyn’s Kitchen says that as far as she knows she will not be closed any more in February and the first of March unless the weather is bad. She will have me to put it in the news what she has planned for March.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Feb. 24. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon was “Are you to be forgiven of sin or do you want to be free form your sin?” taken form 2 Corinthians 7:1.

There had not been much going on in the area because of the cold weather, snow, ice and rain. Saturday there was really high wind. Everybody around said they are ready for spring.

The Harwood Post Office is open Monday through Saturday from 1:15 to 3:15 for people to buy stamps and mail packages, etc.
