Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, says that she is going to wait until after school start to have her dinner. She will have me put it in my news when she decides to have it. She says that as far as she knows she will be open every day in August, except for Wednesdays, when she is closed anyway. She says that if something comes up that she has to be closed for any reason in August, if she knows it in time she will put it in my news.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Aug. 4, Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon “Article 4, Faith, Baptist and Message” was taken from John 3: 1-18. The church will have a free yard sale and free hair cuts form 8 a.m. to noon at the church. Everyone is welcome to come.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended Friday Chicken Friday, Friday, Aug. 2, at the El Dorado Springs Senior Center.

The Harwood Post Office is open Monday thru Saturday from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. for people to get their mail, buys stamps and mail packages. The lobby is open 24 hours a day for people to get their mail out of their box.

This past week the weather had not been so bad. The first part of the week, it was hot. The Schell and Harwood areas did not get a whole lot of raid. It was just scattered. Mostly in town El Dorado Springs got almost two inches of rain.
