Pastor Pudge, Sister Sludge was a hit

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will hold her steak, shrimp and chicken dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 8. Baked potato, salad and dessert bar will go with it. The price will depend on what you get.

The Harwood and Schell areas had a very bad wind, thunder and lightning storm and several inches of rain Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Jewel and Helen Ellerman attended the Sunday evening activity night featuring comedians Pastor Pudge and Sister Sludge, a great Christian couple Sunday evening, Sept. 17, at the Grace United Methodist Church at El Dorado Springs. A fried chicken dinner was served before the program.

Several from the Harwood and Schell City areas attended the Walker Fun Days at Walker Saturday, Sept. 16.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Sept. 17. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’ sermon “Repent In Return” was taken from Jonah 1:10 through the end of the chapter.
