Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church Sunday morning service was by Pastor Larry Sorrells titled “Just Jesus” from Luke 4:21-30.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home met Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. to study the Bible with 11 in attendance.

The weather in the Mt. Zion area has been spring like after the cold spell not looking forward to the promised colder weather again, will plant my lettuce and spinach Valentine Day regardless of weather.

Wish Beverly Pelkey a speedy recovery; she been to the doctors with her legs.

Wanda Rector returned home after spending a few days in Springfield visiting daughter and family, while there they attended the play; “Neverland” and went shopping.

Exercise class Friday at the Elliott Memorial Hospital was double hard; the room we usually use was in use we went to the cafeteria for class. In the cafeteria the ladies were cooking lunch and did it even smell good, here we were trying to concentrate on exercise knowing we were leaving before lunch.

Recent visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home was Brenda Peterson of Richmond; her weather was much worse than ours. Stacy and Mike Griffith were also visitors, Dixie is doing therapy.

Marge Zink enjoyed visiting with Chryshella Vandivier and seeing her wedding pictures.

Tom Pelkey is keeping the wood box filled, the cats will be glad when Beverly gets better still gets food but no petting.

The Rockville Hand Quilters finished a quilt Thursday and almost another one, enjoy our visitors, we quilt every Thursday afternoon we invite you to join us not necessary to quilt we enjoy talking too coffee at 2:30.

John and Julia Snethen had a quite week also kept their doctors appointment on Wednesday with good report, son Ron got his tractor tire fixed. Michael and Kayla Snethen visited for Super Bowl Sunday and returned home after.
