Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church was by Pastor Nick Van Dam entitled “Responsibility of Grace” taken from Mathew 18:21-35.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study had nine in attendance to study the Bible in the home of Tom and Beverly Pelkey each Tuesday at 7 p.m. All are welcome.

The Mt. Zion area received a much needed rain Sunday morning, some lost electric power for several hours.

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm Belle is happy Robin ordered some beautiful, cute chickens, glad Robin is not doing bird refuse again.

Marge Zink while enjoying her morning tea on the deck noticed a spider had just finished making a web like one of the crochet doilies she has. That spider finished her project overnight and Marge didn’t get a simple quilt block finished, she needs to take lessons from the spider and keep working.

Recent visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home have been Brenda Peterson from Richmond, Marge Zink and Stacy and Mike Griffith.

Beverly Pelkey kept her doctor’s appointment for tests. Tom is happy to be mowing grass and cutting wood.

Julia Snethen went to Knob Noster this past week to help granddaughter, Shella Akers, with a garage sale and returned home during the rain. John stayed home and took care of the animals.
