Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will close at 1 p.m. on Dec. 7.  She will close at 10 a.m. on Dec. 14. She will serve the meal for the Duke Mason Band at Camp Galilee. Madalyn will close at 2 p.m. on Dec. 18, for the Northeast Vernon County Elementary Christmas program. She will have her Christmas dinner on Thursday, Dec. 20.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended the Funeral service for Diane Rutledge at the Sheldon Funeral Home in El Dorado Springs Thursday morning, Nov. 29. They ate dinner at the First Baptist Church in El Dorado Springs with the family as they are good friends with Diane’s daughter, Mary.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Dec. 2. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon “ The Great Commission” was taken from Matthew 24. Brother Mike Dunivan said they had around 20 for their free community breakfast before church.

The area had some rain on Friday night, Nov. 30, and some more late Saturday night, Dec. 1. We should be thankful that it was not cold enough to freeze.
