Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church Sunday morning service by pastor Larry Sorrels was titled “Speak Life”.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. with 10 in attendance to study the Bible.

Mt. Zion Club area has enjoyed the nice weather the past week; the farmers are back in fields harvesting corn and bailing hay; still several humming birds around.

Tom Pelkey has been mowing grass. Beverly is still making bird water only about half as much, Beverly did make it to the doctor doing okay.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm Belle and Robin enjoying the peace and quiet after some calves were weaned and confine to the pen.

Sac-Osage Electric has been busy trimming trees along the power lines, good to know if we have a bad winter the trees are likely to break the power lines.

Sympathy to the family of Gordon Holland, brother of Dixie Peterson; Gordon grew up in the Lowry City area and retired from the Ford Motor Company and lived in Cameron.

John and Julia Snethen spent a quite week with John running his bus route and Julia staying at home except for Thursday when she went to get her hair cut and stopped by Dollar store and visited with a few friends.
