CWD INSPECTION – Missouri of Department of Conservation staffers checked almost 600 deer Saturday and Sunday in the Chamber of Commerce parking lot at the corner of Hwys. 32 and 54. Lymph nodes were removed from the deer’s neck and placed in a plastic bag and are sent that day to be tested. All the bags are labeled and each deer identified by a number. It could take up to a month to receive the results.
